Eastrail Partners
Leading to a fully-connected Eastrail
As the nonprofit that unifies and galvanizes the Eastrail effort, our mission is to create a thriving trail that reflects the diversity of the Puget Sound in partnership with communities, business, and governments to raise awareness, secure trail funding, and connect people to each other and the trail.
We advocate for trail funding, mobilize private sector engagement and investment, and collaborate with communities. We build relationships with communities, building diverse support for the trail. We believe Eastrail must be safe and accessible, especially for individuals and communities who might not traditionally feel comfortable in this space: we are committed to an inclusive Eastrail that is welcoming to all.
In our first three years as an organization, Eastrail Partners helped secure $43M for the Eastrail effort including:
- $33 million in governmental funding
- $9.5 million private-sector direct trail investment from Amazon, Meta, and REI
