Kirkland, WA – Eastrail Partners has received a $5,000 Ignite Kirkland grant from the Kirkland Community Foundation to support the Summer Concert Series along the Eastrail at Feriton Spur Park. The grant was awarded through the 2026 Ignite Kirkland campaign, a community-powered grant process supported by individual donors, corporate sponsors, and the Kirkland Community Foundation.

The Eastrail Partners Summer Concert Series at Feriton Spur Park will take place every Wednesday in July from 6–8 p.m. This year’s headliners are Vlad and the Dads, Lucia Flores Wiseman, Raga & Rhythm 2.0, and Lion of Judah Band. This is the fourth year of these free, family-friendly concerts on the trail. In past years, the series has drawn at least 50-100  attendees. Each concert featured a diverse performance, making it a strong example of placemaking in action.

Eastrail Partners is the nonprofit unifying  the 42-mile Eastrail, focusing on building support for the trail and strengthening connections among communities, the public sector, and corporate partners. Eastrail Partners connects the public to the trail, advocates for government funding to support trail construction, and mobilizes private-sector engagement to help accelerate progress.

Ignite Kirkland is a yearly grant campaign hosted by the Kirkland Community Foundation to spotlight Kirkland-based nonprofits and raise awareness of how local nonprofits help Kirkland thrive. This is the third year of Ignite Kirkland.
