Kirkland’s newest park is adjacent to the trail, and we are removing blackberries from the trail to open up access between them.  The site is also across the street from the trail’s path through Google’s campus, an ideal illustration of public-private partnership.   Work will be on National Trails Day, June 1, from 9 AM to 11 AM.  We will be digging blackberry roots and spreading mulch – the prickly part has been taken care of!  We will provide tools and some gloves, but bring gloves if you have them.
