About the Eastrail

The Eastrail is a non-motorized trail that runs 42 miles on the east side of Lake Washington, from Renton to Snohomish County. It is built on a historic railroad line and provides non-motorized access to transit options and greenspace, with the goal of decreasing carbon emissions, producing positive health outcomes, boosting economic growth, and improving equity through access. The Eastrail is currently under development with several sections open to the public.
