With long days and warm weather ahead, Eastrail Partners is looking forward to a busy summer on the trail. We’re excited to share a variety of public events throughout the corridor. Check out our Events page for a full list of happenings this summer.
June 1, 9-11am; Eastrail at NE 6th Street, Kirkland
In celebration of National Trails Day, join us as we remove blackberries along the trail in Kirkland. This is a great chance to give back, enhance the trail experience, and connect with other trail enthusiasts. Please email [email protected] to RSVP.
June 23, 12pm; North End of NE 8th Overcrossing on Eastrail
Join King County Parks and other community organizations as we celebrate the next major trail project to open in Bellevue. This bridge will allow trail users to safely cross NE 8th to Wilburton Station and connect to a newly opened trail segment stretching to NE 4th Street. The opening will also unveil a new public art project centered around the Japanese-American experience in Wilburton.
July 10, 17, 24 & 31, 6-8pm; Feriton Spur Amphitheater
Eastrail Partners is excited to bring this annual performance series to Feriton Spur Park, directly on the Eastrail in Kirkland. We will have a diversity of performances on Wednesday evenings in July. All concerts are free, open to the public, and family-friendly. Bike, walk, or roll directly on the trail, enjoy a refreshment at nearby Chainline Station, cool off in the splash pad, and enjoy an evening of excellent entertainment.
Throughout the month of July, stop by Chainline Station in Feriton Spur Park. When you grab a pint of their Eastrail Ale, a portion of proceeds will go to support Eastrail Partners in our mission to make the Eastrail for everyone, every day. In addition to beer, they serve non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, pizzas, and other treats.
September 7, details TBD
Join us as we partner again with our friends at Peace Peloton for a bike ride on the Eastside. Keep an out later this summer for more details about the ride, and be sure to sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date on events happening on the trail.
